Our expert tooling and prototyping facilities are dedicated to supporting our customers through the early stages of development. We design and manufacture bespoke press tooling, laser fixtures and low volume parts.
Laser Cutting
PSM have invested extensively in three and five axis laser cutting technology from Trumpf and Amada, supporting our customers’ growing production requirements.
Press Forming
Our recently-expanded press shop is home to a range of presses up to 800t and includes a double-sided 600t hydraulic press. We also have a standalone press brake facility, which is home to 12 Amada press brakes, two robots and our team of press braking experts.
Assembly & Welding
Our team of skilled sheet metal workers, welders and assembly workers can carry out the most complex assignments, continuing the long history of craftmanship at PSM.
Logistics & Distribution
With a modern, dedicated warehouse and distribution centre, a team of MP&L experts and a modern ERP system, we can support even the most demanding delivery schedules.

PSM was established in 1948, by partners George Payne, Stan Talyor and Nobby Clark, all skilled sheet metal workers. The business was initially based opposite Parkgate and has grown and developed with our customers over more than 75 years.
